How do you play music in Google Drive in UK
How do you play your music stored in Google Drive in the UK…?
There are loads of Google Play apps that promise to play your Music from Google Drive, but Google has disabled the ability to play back in the UK, Instead I have to download my music, which defeats the whole purpose of Cloud Storage…?
Does anyone know of a way around this…?

The bad news is Google Play is US only at the moment should be in the UK in the next few months.
The URL you will need
https://play.google.com/music/listen
You will get the below message until its in the UK
We’re sorry. The Google Play music player is currently only available in the United States.
Also there is a video on how it will works
http://www.googleforum.co.uk/music-google-play
If you go to the link above and try to download the app it will say you have not been invited yet. The following day you will get a email saying “you now have been invited to Google drive” with a new download link to the app.
This is so Google can control the members joining.
Guessing they are throttling it so the services don’t get bogged down

LikeDislikeIs there any news on when the Music Service will be coming to the UK…?
I have uploaded my music onto Google Drive, but can’t listen to it without downloading it first, defeating the whole point of cloud computing, surely adding a music player inside Google Drive wouldn’t take a company like Google long to add.

LikeDislikeLooks like the focus is rolling out Google Drive first only a small percentage of the UK have drive so far. Google looks to be trying to throttle storage space to gauge the popularity rather than open the floodgates to every to avoid the service falling over so we just have to hold on for a bit longer
